Terms of use.

By accessing this website or any GriffynX service you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not accept, do not use the services.

A GriffynX assessment is a computed statement of what the evidence available to us supported at a stated moment, expressed as a score with a confidence interval and accompanied by the evidence chain, the absences, and the methodology version.

An assessment is not a background check, an identity guarantee, a credit report, a consumer report, a legal clearance, or a determination about any person, organisation or account. It does not instruct you to take or refrain from any action. Any label applied to an assessment — for example decline, review or accept — is the output of your own policy, set by you, and is your responsibility.

Results may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate and should be independently verified before they are relied upon.

You may use the services only for a lawful purpose, and only:

(a) in respect of data concerning you; (b) in respect of a counterparty where you have a legitimate interest or another lawful basis for the enquiry; or (c) as expressly permitted by a written agreement with us.

You must not use the services to harass, stalk, profile or discriminate against any person; to make a decision about credit, employment, insurance, housing or any other matter for which a specific regulated report is required by law; to circumvent a rate limit, tier ceiling or access control; to scrape, resell or redistribute output; or to re-identify any individual from information we have de-identified.

Every call you make carries a purpose that you declare. You are responsible for the accuracy of that declaration, and it is recorded.

API keys and evaluation credentials are issued to you and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activity conducted under them and must notify us immediately of any suspected compromise. We may suspend a key or an evaluation without notice where we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these terms.

Evaluations of X-Ray are made available for a stated period, at a stated tier and within stated limits, for the purpose of assessing the service. They confer no right to continued access.

You retain all rights in the data you submit. You grant us the rights necessary to process it in order to provide the services, and to retain the resulting assessments and audit records as described in our privacy policy.

Where you submit observations or outcomes, you confirm you are entitled to do so, and you accept that they may weigh on subsequent assessments within your own tenancy.

The services, the underlying methodology, the evidence graph, and all software, documentation and branding are owned by GriffynX Intelligence Labs Pvt Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any right in them. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or create derivative works except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.

Endpoints marked in our documentation as published contracts are not yet served and return a not-implemented response until their handlers ship. We will not change the shape of a published request or response beneath an existing integration; we may add to it.

The services are otherwise provided on an as-available basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of them, and we will give reasonable notice of a change that materially affects a paying customer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the services are provided without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

GriffynX is not responsible for any decision, action, omission, loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance upon, the information the services provide. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, and for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one thousand rupees where no amount was paid.

You will indemnify GriffynX against any claim arising from your use of the services in breach of these terms or of applicable law, including any claim brought by a person about whom you made an enquiry without a lawful basis for doing so.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
